Bonjour/Hi!
I'm Jani, a 4ft-11in tall Illustrator and Graphic Designer living in Petawawa, Ontario, Canada.
I create colourful illustrations aimed toward a younger audience or adults like me who are big kids at heart.
To me, art is magic. It conveys emotion, elicits imagination, and makes fantasy a reality. This fueled my passion for becoming a Graphic Designer and Illustrator.
Every project starts with quirky pencil sketches on paper and is then digitally reimagined using Procreate and Photoshop. My favourite part of the process is adding colours and textures. It makes my heart sing.
My work is inspired by colours found in nature and on the fashion runways, vintage objects at flea markets, and my own childhood 80s nostalgia.
